TheASP-MG24TDB advances sound masking control including time based levelcontrol to a whole new level while providing the secondary benefit ofloudspeaker processing for the most popular Atlas Sound loudspeakersystems.
The ASP-MG24 is 1RU, 6 input x 4 output DSP configurable by a veryintuitive set-up GUI. Four inputs are tied to independent white/pinknoise generators with adjustable ramp-up to allow gradual acclimationto masking levels. Two additional inputs are available for mic or linesources to allow paging and/or music sources to be blended with themasking sources to any of the 4 outputs.
Dedicated 1/3 octave filter sets are available for each of the 4generator outputs, 8 band parametric EQ blocks along with dynamiccontrol is available for each of the two mic/line inputs. Any mix ofall 6 inputs may be easily matrixed to the 4 output DSP blocks foradditional parametric equalization, delay, and limiting (if required).
Factoring in all features, a very complex 4 zone sound masking systemcan be easily configured with 2 external music or page sources. TheMGTDB internal module allows timing and level control of all 4 Maskinginputs for daytime holiday and weekend scheduling.
For loudspeaker control functionality, the ASP-MG24TDB may beconfigured in 2 input x 4 output mode for stereo full range. Otherconfigurations include full range plus sub operation with Atlas SoundFAP ceiling speakers, SM series surface mount speakers, or AH seriesstadium horns for complete control of crossover types, equalization,delay, and dynamic control.
Computer interface is simplified by USB, RS-232 and Ethernet connection(no hard to use USB to Serial adaptors required!). External UL listedinternational voltage power supply is included
